Please help us welcome our 2 new arrivals to Triple "L" Horse Rescue. Mommy and daughter arrived Sunday, July 25, 2010 around noon. Both are adjusting to life at the rescue fantastically.

Beauty Two Socks - Mustang - 12 years old
Beauty has had some training but not enough. Our trainer will be working with her to see exactly how much work she needs. She does have an issue with men but we hope to help her with that issue. Beauty is a beautiful girl and very sweet. At times she does hesitate to come to you but I'm sure once she gets use to being at the rescue and the other horses that will subside.
Brandy - Mustang Mix - 2 years old - Beauty's Daughter
Brandy is a beautiful baby and very affectionate. She loves attention and will come right up to you. With the way that Brandy acts it seems like she has always been here at the rescue. Coming here did not bother her at all. She has had some ground work, but here again our trainer will work with her to see what she needs.

ADOPTION INFORMATION
Both Beauty and Brandy may be adoptable in 30 days, we will know in a couple weeks if we need to extend that. If interested in either Beauty and/or Brandy please contact us.
Beauty will have our standard "Adoption Contract".
Brandy will have our "Special Adoption Contract". Since Brandy is not trained to ride her contract will include "training requirements". TLHR does not tolerate abusive training methods.
Potential adopters must have references of training horses and the style they use. A representative from TLHR must see how/what you do before approving adoption.
If a potential adopter has never trained a horse but would like to apply for Brandy's adoption you must meet with our trainer. Our trainer will go over her pricing and schedule of training. You must sign a contract with her to train Brandy to ride before adoption can be approved.
As mentioned above, TLHR does not tolerate abusive training or abuse of any kind. The majority of our cases are from abuse. It takes months to build the trust back up and help a horse feel safe and loved again. Some horses never get over it.
